If you want to talk about psychedelic rock, you need to talk about The Black Angels. The band developed a unique sound in studio and live, playing festivals all over the world and smashing crowds.
“Indigo Meadow” got all the fuzz guitar, tremolo, echoes and weirdness that you would expect from any band from Austin. But the Black Angels have a little extra that make them sound like a 60′s killer machine. Maybe is Stephanie Bailey’s deep ritualistic drumming exploding into a swirling, or the horror film organ and guitar line, or Alex Maas’ droning voice.
All we know is that The Black Angels know how to swing, break and burn. “Indigo Meadow” is heavy, fun and catchy. Listen to the stream below and get your copy here.
